Kreative Oslo is the name of a recurring conference and networking event for the cultural and creative industries in the Oslo region of Norway. The event, organized by the network Nettverk for Kulturnæringer i Osloregionen, has been held at venues such as DogA Norsk Design- og Arkitektursenter and Vulkan in Oslo.[1][2]
Design and History
The event has been promoted through its website, kreativeoslo.no, which was referenced in event listings as early as 2009.[2] The conference was described as a gathering intended to make the creative industries visible and to create an arena where participants could be inspired and learn from each other.[2]
In 2013, the network invited participants to a conference on October 16 at Vulkan in Oslo, with the theme “Fornyelse og forretningsutvikling innen kulturnæringene” (Renewal and business development within the cultural industries).[1]
While the Norwegian designer Nicklas Haslestad has been credited with numerous identity projects in Oslo, including work for restaurants, festivals, and cultural institutions, no verifiable source connects him to a Kreative Oslo wordmark.[3][4]
