Fundación Empresarial is a business initiatives brand from Argentina. Its symbol was originally designed by Argentine graphic artist Armando Paez Torres in 1960.[1]
Design and History
Armando Paez Torres, born in Argentina in 1918, was a self-taught graphic artist who began as an illustrator and layout man. He lived in Brazil from 1937 to 1947 and again from 1952 to 1955, working for advertising agencies and publishing houses. He also produced many book covers and jackets for Hachette in Buenos Aires and won a United Nations poster contest, a prize at the Festival del Libro Americano, and many other awards.[2][3]
The Fundación Empresarial mark is categorized as a stripes and weave design, reflecting the geometric, clean aesthetic common to 1960s graphic design.[1] The logo database that documents this attribution lists the symbol under the designer’s portfolio of logos and brands.[4]
Logo Index is an independent educational archive covering logos, visual identities and graphic design history. All trademarks and brand assets remain the property of their respective owners.
