Brand System Generator
Build a usable visual system from a few brand choices, then refine it into production-ready tokens, component states and Figma variables.
Logo Index Design System
System health
A quick assessment of accessibility, hierarchy, token coverage and component readiness.
Brand scale
12-step perceptual scale. Brand 600 preserves your exact source color.
Accent scale
Analogous harmony
Neutral scale
Subtly tinted toward the brand hue.
Brand color roles
See and edit the three brand-level colors before they flow into semantic tokens.
Semantic color roles
Override any role. Every change updates previews, components, Figma and code exports.
Accessibility
Contrast checks use the actual semantic foreground/background pair.
Data visualization palette
Accessible starting colors for categorical charts plus sequential and diverging scales.
Typography controls
Choose from a larger Google Fonts library. Only the selected families are requested and loaded in the browser.
Font pairing
Live sample of your selected heading and body families.
Fluid type rules
Mobile → desktop CSS values generated for responsive product work.
Type ramp
Display through caption, ready for design tokens.
The left values are token names, the center is a live visual specimen, and the right values are the exact exported sizes. Changing the type ratio, base size, font, weight or tracking updates this preview and the exports.
Primitive → Semantic → Component
See how raw values become purposeful tokens and then component states.
Spacing system
Use the same rhythm in Figma Auto Layout and code.
Radius + elevation
Reusable shape and depth vocabulary.
Responsive grid
Practical starting points for web and product layouts.
Density modes
See how the selected density changes control heights and paddings.
Component states
Each state uses semantic tokens rather than hard-coded colors.
Context previews
Stress-test the same system across three different design contexts.
Saved systems
Store concepts locally in this browser. No account or server storage required.
Saved systems use localStorage, so they stay on this device/browser only.
Compare concepts
Select two saved systems to compare visual direction, accessibility and token choices.
Figma handoff
Review the variable architecture first, then export compatible Light and Dark token files.
Variable structure
Import into Figma
- Open the Variables panel in your Figma file.
- Create or select a variable collection for the brand system.
- Import the Light and Dark DTCG JSON files.
- Keep the matching variable names as two modes in the same collection.
- Use semantic variables on components instead of applying primitive values directly.
The export uses DTCG-style token data for supported Figma variable types. Composite multi-layer effects are kept in CSS/code exports.
Code exports
Use the same system outside Figma.
Brand System Generator for Figma, Design Tokens and UI Foundations
Brand System Lab turns a small set of brand decisions into a structured visual system you can test, refine and export. Start with primary, secondary and accent colors, choose a visual direction and typography, then generate accessible semantic colors, responsive type scales, layout tokens, component states and Figma-ready design tokens.
What does the Brand System Generator create?
The generator creates perceptual color scales, semantic color roles, typography scales, spacing and radius tokens, density settings, component states and light/dark modes. It also previews the same system across marketing, dashboard, mobile, e-commerce and editorial contexts so you can see whether the choices work beyond a single mockup.
Primitive, semantic and component design tokens
A useful design system separates raw values from their purpose. A primitive such as brand/800 stores a color value. A semantic token such as action/primary describes how that value is used. Component tokens then connect those decisions to UI states such as a primary button background or input focus border. This makes later redesigns much easier because components do not need to be recolored one by one.
Generate Figma variables
The Figma handoff area exports matching Light and Dark token files with a consistent naming structure. Review the primitive and semantic layers before export, then import the files into a Figma Variables collection. Using semantic variables instead of raw colors makes component libraries easier to theme and maintain.
Accessible brand colors and UI states
A brand's main color is not automatically a good interface color. Brand System Lab checks contrast for text and important interactive states, then recommends stronger semantic mappings when needed. This allows the original brand color to remain part of the identity while UI actions use a shade that is easier to read.
Typography and responsive type scales
Choose separate heading and body families from the built-in Google Fonts list. Only selected families are requested in the browser. The tool generates a modular type ramp from display text through captions, plus fluid mobile-to-desktop values for major headings. Font choices, scale ratio, weight, line-height and tracking all feed the exported system.
CSS, SCSS, Tailwind and JSON exports
The same foundation can be handed to developers through CSS variables, SCSS tokens, Tailwind configuration and JSON. Keeping design and code outputs based on the same system reduces the translation gap between Figma and implementation.
Why use a brand system instead of a color palette?
A palette is only one layer of a working identity. Real digital products also need decisions for typography, spacing, surfaces, borders, focus states, responsive behavior, dark mode and reusable components. Brand System Lab is designed to help you test those decisions together rather than generating isolated colors that still need to be organized manually.
You can start from presets for SaaS, fintech, luxury, editorial, e-commerce, healthcare, consumer technology, Swiss modernism or brutalism, then save multiple concepts locally and compare them side by side. Saved systems stay in your browser and shared systems use the URL fragment, so the tool does not create thousands of duplicate indexable pages.
Private by default
The generator does not require a logo upload or account. Brand choices are processed in your browser. Saved systems use local browser storage and share links encode the configuration in the URL fragment. This makes the tool suitable for early design exploration without sending client files or brand assets to a server.
