BFerraz is a Brazilian brand experience and promotion agency founded by Bazinho Ferraz, who launched the company in 1990 and later reacquired it after a partnership with Grupo ABC.[1] The agency operates within the B&Partners.co network, which Ferraz created in 2018.[1]
Design and History
In February 2022, BFerraz introduced a new positioning called “Impact + Entertain + Sell,” described as a proprietary vision where culture, data, and creativity embrace different disciplines.[2] Several months later, in July 2022, the agency presented a new visual identity aligned with this repositioning.[3]
According to statements from the agency at the time, the visual refresh was driven by a need for “a visual milestone that represented all the transformation we are making,” one that would embrace new cases and the agency’s new positioning, while being “more contemporary” and enabling a design system.[3] The new identity was introduced alongside the announcement of new co-CEOs.[4]
Earlier in the agency’s history, the company operated under the name “B! Ferraz” (with an exclamation mark), as recorded in advertising industry directories.[5] The current branding drops the exclamation mark and uses the simpler “BFerraz” wordmark.
Meaning and Symbolism
The agency’s name derives from its founder, Bazinho Ferraz, whose surname forms the second half of the brand name.[1] The “B” in the name and logo serves as the brand’s initial, connecting the visual identity directly to the founder’s name. Beyond this naming connection, no official documentation of additional symbolic meaning in the current logo has been published.
Typography and Design
The 2022 visual identity was described by the agency as enabling a “design system,” suggesting a flexible brand architecture rather than a single static mark.[3] Specific typography choices, color specifications, or the identity’s designer have not been publicly documented in available sources.
