Kissflow is a low-code/no-code workflow and digital workplace platform developed by Chennai-based OrangeScape Technologies, which consolidated its corporate branding under the Kissflow name in 2019. The company’s visual identity has evolved from an early butterfly mark to a multicolored abstract symbol paired with a lowercase wordmark, a change the company describes as a “fresh, new look” that arrived in 2018 as the platform expanded into a full work management offering.[1][2]
Design and History
Kissflow’s earliest logo was a butterfly, a motif the company chose to depict “freedom and lightness,” which it described as the tenets on which the software product was built. The company ran a design contest to evolve that butterfly concept into a more modern mark while retaining those principles.[3]
In 2018, as Kissflow evolved from a workflow tool into a full-fledged work management platform with customers across 160 countries, the company gave its logo a fresh look.[1] The current identity consists of a multicolored abstract symbol and a lowercase wordmark. Official brand guidelines require the logo to be used only on black or white backgrounds, and both horizontal and vertical lockups are permitted. The guidelines prohibit altering the logo’s colors, changing its font, using the graphic without the wordmark, or applying effects such as drop shadows.[4]
The company’s brand colors include a blue tone documented as #1F80FF (Dodger Blue), along with additional palette colors tracked by brand asset services.[5] In 2021, Kissflow launched its first major global brand campaign under the theme “#ThePowerOfSimple,” created with the communications consultancy Nine Yards, which helped the company articulate its offerings through the lens of simplicity.[6][7]
Typography and Design
Kissflow’s product interfaces use the Graphik typeface, which the company treats as a vital part of its style for ensuring text readability at first glance.[8] The brand’s visual system also relies on signature Kissflow colors and predominantly simple geometric shapes across its platform design.[8]
