Palm Angels Logo PNG
Meaning and history
The Palm Angels logo is best known for a gothic, or blackletter, wordmark spelling the brand’s name. The letterforms are tightly arranged, with pointed and curved details; the mark appears in contrasting light and dark versions. Palm Angels describes its gothic logo as “unmistakable” on its page about the PA Monogram (Palm Angels).
The name began with Francesco Ragazzi’s photographs of skateboarders around Venice Beach and Manhattan Beach. Rizzoli published his Palm Angels photo book in September 2014, with a foreword by Pharrell Williams. The Milan-based fashion label followed in 2015 (WWD; WWD).
2015 – Today

This image shows the familiar blackletter wordmark in black on white. The stage heading spans the wordmark’s earlier role in the identity, but it is no longer the primary identity: a stylised palm-tree logo was introduced in 2025. The gothic lettering nevertheless continued to appear in collection designs and treatments (FashionNetwork; Design Scene).
Icon

The image here bends the wordmark into an arch and places it against a light outline. Separately, Palm Angels documented a PA Monogram for Winter 2023: a P with a straight left stem paired with an inverted A that nearly merges with it. The brand described the idea as “not one identity to refer to, but multiple… ever-changing identities” (Palm Angels).
The wordmark also received collection-specific treatments. For Fall/Winter 2024, it appeared at different scales and positions in spiral arrangements on garments. Spring/Summer 2025 coverage showed a sprayed effect, a geometric treatment of the monogram and a layered “Net Logo” (Design Scene; Design Scene).
Font and color

This version pairs bright blue lettering with a flame-like outline, a marked contrast with the black-and-white wordmark above. It is a visual treatment of the name rather than evidence of a separate symbol. The logo’s recognizable blackletter style remains visible even when color and surrounding effects change.
Current identity
In 2025, after Bluestar Alliance acquired Palm Angels and Francesco Ragazzi left the brand, Creative Director Alberto Furlan set about redesigning the logo. FashionNetwork reported the new mark as a stylised palm tree, with the trunk composed of the letters in the brand’s name (FashionNetwork). The palm tree is the newer primary direction; the gothic wordmark and its variations remain part of the label’s collection imagery.
