Design and History
Publicly available records confirm the company’s existence and registered address history but do not document the design, creator, or history of its logo. No official corporate website, brand guideline, or design archive describing a Nippon Unit Load mark was located in the research. Claims that the logo was designed by Koichi Watanabe in 1977, or that it depicts movement or the flow of goods, cannot be verified from any primary or reliable secondary source found.
Directory listings identify the company under the English name “Nippon Unitroad Co., Ltd.” at an address in Hyogo-ku, Kobe, categorized under marine equipment and supplies.[3] The Japanese corporate registry shows the company’s registered office was located in Hyogo-ku, Kobe, as of October 2015, before moving to Higashinada-ku, Kobe, in June 2017, and then to Ashiya in June 2018.[1]
Because no verifiable documentation of the logo’s appearance, designer, or symbolism was found, this entry cannot confirm the visual identity attributed to Nippon Unit Load in unverified sources. Readers seeking the current mark should consult the company directly or check official Japanese corporate registries for updated contact information.
