Heller is a radio advertising brand from the United States. The “Heller” symbol was originally designed by Robert Pease in 1967.[1]
Design and History
The Heller Corporation, begun by Hugh Heller in 1958, produced commercials and jingles for radio stations.[2] The company was based in Hollywood, California, and was known for creating radio commercials, station IDs, and thematic identification music for broadcasters.[3]
Robert Pease, who created the Heller logo in 1967, was a San Francisco-based graphic artist who built a design agency employing a staff of 18. Pease estimated that he personally created 300 to 400 company logos over a career spanning more than half a century.[4]
Logo Index is an independent educational archive covering logos, visual identities and graphic design history. All trademarks and brand assets remain the property of their respective owners.
