Polsat Sport Fight is a Polish-language television channel devoted entirely to fight sports, launched on August 1, 2016, as part of the Polsat Group’s sports channel family. The channel broadcasts in HD quality and covers events such as boxing nights and mixed martial arts galas.[1]

Design and History

The current Polsat Sport Fight logo was introduced on August 30, 2021, as part of a coordinated rebranding of 24 Telewizja Polsat channels, including all sports channels.[2][3] The rebranding was part of a wider identity change across the Polsat Plus Group, which had already introduced new logos for brands such as Plus, Polsat Box, and Polsat Box Go.[4]

The creative concept for the new logos was based on an animation of sun rays, a shared element across all channel logos. The rays form a pattern identical for every station, but rendered in colors dedicated to each channel. This approach gave the channels a cohesive visual identity while preserving their individual character.[2][3]

The new on-air presentation was prepared by the German creative agency Luxlotusliner, with substantial involvement from Telewizja Polsat’s own promotion team. Luxlotusliner had also produced the previous Polsat and thematic channel presentations.[2]

Meaning and Symbolism

The sun ray pattern serves as the unifying element of the new Polsat channel logos. According to Telewizja Polsat’s marketing director, the project was described as full of colors, warm, viewer-friendly, and modern, intended to help the Polsat channel family stand out from other stations.[2] The logos gained visual depth through three-dimensional animation.[3]

Typography and Design

The 2021 rebranding introduced typography designed specifically for Polsat, used in the on-air presentation of trailers. The new identity was described by its creators as flexible and offering many possibilities for future development.[2]
