Zug Estates Holding AG is a Swiss real estate group that conceives, develops, markets and manages properties in the Zug region, focusing on centrally located sites with potential for sustainable development. The company was formed in 2012 as a spin-off from the Metall Zug Group, and its shares have been traded on the SIX Swiss Exchange since July 2, 2012. Zug Estates Holding AG is headquartered in Zug, Switzerland. [1] [2]
Design and History
Zug Estates’ visual identity was created in 2012 by the Zurich-based branding agency Schneiter Meier, which was responsible for the brand strategy consulting, the new positioning and the naming of the company. The agency developed the new market presence and implemented it in around six months, in time for the group’s stock market debut. [3] [4]
Five years after the IPO, Zug Estates planned a redesign of its corporate identity and corporate design. The company wanted to underline its innovative strength through a stringent, modern appearance, and the new identity was intended to make clear that the real estate company was addressing the challenges of the present day through consistent communication. The redesign was carried out by the agency Linkgroup, which developed the brand foundation elements, the website concept and realisation, and the cross-media implementation of financial reporting and a sustainability report. [5] [6]
The resulting communication concept was described as a new, powerful and contemporary appearance that clearly distinguishes itself from comparable real estate companies. Linkgroup later completed the corporate presence with a new website and a cross-media implementation of the financial reporting, the sustainability report and the company magazine “Journal”. [5] [6]
Meaning and Symbolism
The Zug Estates logo is a typographic wordmark. The company’s official website and downloadable press materials do not document any specific symbolic meaning or colour symbolism for the mark. The identity is described by Linkgroup as an authentic tonal approach across all publications that positions Zug Estates as a modern and future-oriented company in the market. [5]
