Design and History
Globo plc was incorporated on 13 July 2005 under the name Israeli Acquisitor I plc, and changed its name to Globo Plc in December 2007.[2] The company’s wordmark logo, sourced from the Globo web presence, was attributed to Globo plc itself.[3]
The company entered administration on 3 November 2015, and its AIM securities were cancelled on 1 December 2015.[4] Globo plc was formally dissolved on 28 January 2017.[2]
Meaning and Symbolism
Documented visual analysis of the Globo plc logo is limited. The logo file available on Wikipedia is a simple wordmark, nominally 108 × 18 pixels in SVG format, indicating a text-based lockup rather than a complex emblem or abstract symbol.[3] No official source documents specific color values, symbolic meaning or design intent for the Globo plc mark. Claims about gray, blue, green and red color symbolism in the company’s identity cannot be verified through available primary sources.
