For Company was a Polish training and consulting team that supported business projects in marketing and management. Its visual identity was created by Logotypy, a Polish graphic design studio based in Rybnik that has produced over 200 visual identification systems for clients worldwide.[1][2]
Design and History
The For Company logo and visual identity system were designed by Logotypy and were featured in “Symbol,” a publication by Laurence King Publishing.[1] The mark is described by its designers as inspired by Escher geometry, taking the form of a sphere composed of pairs of connected elements.[1]
The company itself, registered as Forcompany Sp. z o.o., was entered into the Polish National Court Register on 13 March 2008, with its registered office in Warsaw. Its registered business activity included consulting related to business management.[3] The company was later placed into liquidation by a shareholder resolution dated 17 October 2017, and all entries were removed from the register on 30 October 2018.[3]
Meaning and Symbolism
Logotypy described the For Company signet as carrying a deliberate metaphor: successful business connections form a sphere, which the designers characterized as an excellent, boundless figure. While the visual attractiveness of the signet was described as a supreme value, the designers noted that this metaphor of connected elements forming a complete whole was an integral part of the concept.[1]
