The Basic Attention Token logo is a simple triangle icon, which serves as the symbol for BAT within the Brave browser’s Rewards interface. Brave’s official brand guidelines include a dedicated section for the Brave/BAT lockup, indicating that the BAT mark is formally integrated into the company’s visual identity system. The BAT token was publicly introduced on May 31, 2017, according to a detailed account of Brave’s development history published by Brave’s co-founder and CTO Brian Bondy. That account describes the design process for the Brave browser logo, which involved a designer named Brad Richter, but it does not specifically document the creation of the BAT triangle mark itself.[4]
