Bitkub is a Thailand-based digital asset exchange, licensed by the Ministry of Finance and regulated by the SEC.[1] The company was founded in February 2018 and is headquartered in Bangkok.[2] Its visual identity has evolved from an early bull symbol to the current binocular-and-coins mark, with a formal name change to “Bitkub Exchange” announced in 2022.
Design and History
Bitkub’s first logo was a bull, intended to reference a bull market, a period when the market was growing rapidly. That mark was later replaced with the logo used today.[3]
In November 2022, the company announced it would change its logo to “Bitkub Exchange” across its official channels and social media, with the transition scheduled from 1 November 2022 through 30 November 2022.[4]
Separately, Bitkub Blockchain Technology Co., Ltd. rebranded its blockchain network from “Bitkub Chain” to “KUB” in March 2025, unveiling a new name and logo for that entity.[5] Bitkub Exchange subsequently supported the rebranding of the Bitkub Chain network and Bitkub Coin (KUB), including a change to the KUB coin logo.[6]
Meaning and Symbolism
According to Bitkub’s official support documentation, the current logo is a combination of two symbols: binoculars, which represent long-term strategic vision, and coins, which refer to cryptocurrencies or financial services.[7]
Bitkub’s signature green has been referenced in official brand collaborations, such as the Bitkub Academy x New Era cap collection, which incorporated “Bitkub’s signature green lines” on a classic black cap.[8]
