Solargise was a UK-based solar energy company active in the 2010s, operating through a parent company and a network of project-specific subsidiaries. The company’s visual identity is documented primarily through corporate records and business reporting, as the brand’s official website and marketing materials are no longer publicly available.

Design and History

Solargise UK Limited was incorporated on 30 September 2010, with the company later being dissolved on 5 March 2025 following a winding-up process that concluded in December 2024.[1] The company operated a series of project-specific subsidiaries under the “Solargise (Solar Parks)” naming convention, several of which were later renamed to other corporate identities.[2]

In 2015, Solargise expanded into India, founding Solargise India Pvt Ltd, which launched commercial operations in March 2016 with plans to develop 2 GW of solar power plants.[3] The company was described as a technology-focused manufacturing and utility-scale power project development company, developing solar panels and providing installation and maintenance services.[4]

Meaning and Symbolism

The brand name itself combines “solar” with a suffix suggesting upward movement, but no primary source confirms this as an intentional naming strategy.

Typography and Design

No verifiable information about the typography, logo construction, or design agency behind the Solargise identity has been found. Claims attributing the logo to Mind Design in 2009 cannot be confirmed by any available primary source, including Mind Design’s own portfolio documentation, which does not list Solargise among its clients.[5]

Given the dissolution of Solargise UK Limited in 2025 and the absence of surviving official brand assets, the company’s logo is no longer in active use.[1]
