Suzlon Energy, the Pune-headquartered wind energy and renewable solutions company, introduced a new visual identity in June 2026 as part of a rebranding effort the company calls “Suzlon 2.0.” The refresh accompanied a new brand promise, “Good Energies That Work,” and signaled the company’s evolution from a wind-focused manufacturer into a wind-first, full-stack clean energy solutions conglomerate.[1]
Design and History
The new brand architecture and identity were developed in association with Interbrand, with the campaign and brand platform created by the agency Bang in the Middle.[2][3] According to Suzlon’s official logo usage guidelines, the refreshed wordmark is “bolder, sharper,” reflecting “efficiency and precision of technology yet softened by goodness and the textures of nature.” The guidelines describe the wordmark as custom-made with clean lines, “ready for today’s screens and tomorrow’s scales.”[4]
The logo comes in two approved versions: a primary version in teal on beige or light backgrounds, and a secondary version in white on a teal background.[4]
Meaning and Symbolism
Suzlon’s earlier logo usage guidelines, which describe the pre-2026 signature, document the brand’s teal green as the “signature colour.” The same guidelines note that the company name “SUZLON” was set in the typeface BOLT Bd BT, a font chosen to signify “strength, boldness and largeness of purpose.”[5] The 2026 identity retains the teal palette while introducing a custom wordmark, per the updated usage guidelines.[4]
Typography and Design
The pre-2026 Suzlon signature used the typeface BOLT Bd BT for the company name.[5] The 2026 logo replaces this with a custom-made wordmark designed for digital and large-format applications.[4]
