Vickers & Benson was a Canadian advertising agency based in Toronto. It was founded in 1954 by John Vickers and Terence Benson and was acquired by J. Walter Thompson in 1998.

Vickers & Benson was a Canadian advertising agency based in Toronto. It was founded in 1954 by John Vickers and Terence Benson, initially as a two-person operation, and grew into one of the country’s larger agencies before being acquired by the American firm J. Walter Thompson in 1998.[1]

The agency’s visual identity is associated with the graphic designer Hans Kleefeld, who worked in Canada from the 1950s onward and whose practice included corporate marks and identities for Canadian clients.[2] Specific documentation of the Vickers & Benson mark — its date of introduction, its exact design, and the terms of Kleefeld’s commission — is not reliably established in available sources.
