NK Brinje Grosuplje, commonly referred to as Brinje Grosuplje or simply Brinje, is a Slovenian football club based in the town of Grosuplje, founded on 3 July 2003.[1] The club’s visual identity is built around a circular crest in navy blue and yellow, colors that also appear on its home kits.[2][3]
Design and History
The club’s crest follows a circular emblem format, a common structure in Slovenian football identity. The primary club colors are documented as navy blue and yellow, which have been used consistently on home shirts across multiple seasons, including striped designs in the 2020-21 and 2023-24 campaigns.[3][4]
In September 2022, the club signed a sponsorship agreement with Gabrijel Aluminium, and the sponsor’s renewed logo began appearing on the home shirts of the team.[5] This marked a visible change to the kit branding rather than a redesign of the club crest itself.
For the 2025-26 season, the club retained Spanish sportswear brand Kelme as its kit supplier, with products featuring the club’s recognizable marks available through the club’s online store.[6] Away kits for that season were documented in white and sky blue, while the goalkeeper kit used sky blue and blue stripes.[7][8]
Meaning and Symbolism
Documented symbolism for the Brinje Grosuplje crest is limited. [2] The club’s name references the Brinje sports park in Grosuplje, where the team plays its home matches.[9]
