Meaning and history
Malagrida is a family-run Italian knitwear and garment business based in Tolentino. The company describes its focus as men’s total-look clothing, with knitwear at its core and classic and urban-sporty lines (Malagrida).
A US trademark description identifies the emblem as two horse heads in profile, symmetrically crossed to form the profile of a capital M, above the word MALAGRIDA in block capitals (trademark record). This describes the registered design; it does not establish a symbolic meaning for the horses.
198? – Today

The two images show the same basic arrangement: the horse-head emblem above the MALAGRIDA wordmark. One uses light artwork on a dark ground, while the other uses dark artwork on a light ground. Both also visibly include the words “maglieria & sportswear” beneath the name; the cited trademark description specifies the emblem and wordmark, not that additional line. The record documents the mark’s design but does not establish a redesign date.
The company’s official site presents Fall/Winter 2025–26 collections, documenting ongoing brand activity (Malagrida collections). In 2003, trade coverage reported the company’s move into womenswear with a knitwear debut for Fall/Winter 2003–04 and the launch of the younger Jeordie’s line (Milano Finanza).
