Marc & André logo
Marc & André is a French-origin fashion brand whose collections include beachwear, lingerie and knitwear. Its visible logo is a vertically stacked lockup: a framed M+A monogram above the capitalized name, with “PARIS” on a third line. The brand describes its history as beginning in France and says it gained international recognition in the mid-1990s (Marc & André, Brand).
The monogram and wordmark
The upper element combines the letters M and A into a compact monogram enclosed by a rectangular outline. Below it, the wordmark spells out MARC & ANDRÉ in widely spaced capitals; the accented É is part of the brand’s spelling. The smaller PARIS line completes the centered arrangement. These are descriptions of the visible artwork, not claims about the symbols’ intended meaning.
The first supplied version sets the light-outlined name and monogram against a dark ground. The second shows the same basic arrangement against a light ground, with the lettering appearing dark. The contrast changes the presentation, while the monogram, wordmark and three-line hierarchy remain recognizable.
???? – Today
The brand currently uses the phrase “signature Marc & André logo” for a mark printed on black jacquard fabric in its Luxury Fragrance series; the product page also describes a matching logo-bearing cosmetic bag (Marc & André, Luxury Fragrance). This documents current product use, but does not establish when the pictured lockup was introduced.
