Moreschi is an Italian footwear and leather-goods brand founded in Vigevano in 1946. Its documented emblem pairs two mirrored men’s shoes to form an M, linking the company’s name directly to its footwear.
Meaning and history

The business founded by Mario Moreschi began as Calzaturificio Biellese, used the name Morres in the 1950s, and became Calzaturificio Moreschi in 1963. The company’s history credits Milanese designer Angelo Gabriele Fronzoni with the two-shoe logo and dates his proposal to use the family surname to September 1962. La Provincia Pavese, reporting on court records, dates the design to 1963.
The Moreschi trademark was registered on 23 March 1964. La Provincia Pavese describes the registered mark as two mirrored men’s shoes forming an M above the block-capital MORESCHI wordmark. The shoe silhouettes create the initial, while the name below makes the brand unmistakable.
1963 – 2000

This image belongs to the 1963-2000 period. The period’s documented reference point is the registered emblem: mirrored shoe shapes forming an M, paired with the uppercase name. That description connects the archive’s early stage to the mark recorded in 1964.
2000 – 2022

This design is labeled 2000-2022. Its position alongside the other stages invites comparison with the shoe-shaped M and uppercase wordmark described in the trademark record; together, the panels show the archive’s presentation of Moreschi identity across time.
2022 – Today

This final image has a different arrangement from the documented shoe emblem: a compact, rounded rectangular frame encloses a bold M-shaped figure, above a wide geometric wordmark. In 2024, Hurleys-era branding presented the name as Moreschi Milano, a change reported by Milano Finanza.
Hurleys took control in 2020. After the Tribunale di Pavia declared the company bankrupt in July 2024, Glam Srl and the Imerman Family Office acquired the brand and related assets in 2025, as WWD reported. Moreschi’s product identity centers on footwear and leather goods.
