Mysterium is a decentralized VPN and proxy network built on blockchain technology, allowing users to buy and sell bandwidth for private internet access.[1] The project operates under the name Mysterium Network and is described as an open-source ecosystem dedicated to making the internet accessible and borderless.[2]
Design and History
The Mysterium Network logo is an abstract symbol that functions as the brand’s primary mark. The logo is available in both light and dark variants for use across different backgrounds and applications.[3]
In October 2022, the project made a documented change to its brand color. A commit to the official Mysterium Network blog repository, authored by Mantas Domaševičius, changed the brand color from #0056fe to #D61F85, a shift from blue to a magenta-pink hue.[4]
Brand asset aggregators list additional colors associated with the Mysterium Network identity. One listing documents a cerise pink (#D64495) alongside a dark teal (#0C3B4F) for the MystNodes sub-brand.[5] Another listing for the main Mysterium Network brand records a purple heart (#4D3DD0), hot pink (#FF4EB0), and black rock (#0E0433) as brand colors.[6]
Meaning and Symbolism
The brand’s stated mission focuses on providing censorship-resistant tools and globally accessible products, including the Mysterium VPN.[2] Any interpretation of the abstract symbol’s meaning beyond this context is not supported by official sources.
Typography and Design
The brand color change documented in 2022 is the only officially recorded design decision in the project’s visual identity history.[4]
