Eventbrite is a global self-service ticketing and events marketplace that connects people with live experiences. The company’s visual identity has undergone several significant transformations since its founding in 2006, with the most recent and dramatic change arriving in March 2025.

Design and History

Eventbrite’s earliest logo was a simple sans-serif wordmark in orange, reflecting the startup’s initial focus on online ticketing. In 2016, the company redesigned its visual identity in-house, reversing the original white-on-orange color palette to display orange lettering on a white background. The previous Omnes font was replaced with a hybrid formed of Lineto Circular and FF Cocon, giving the Eventbrite wordmark a new edge. The redesign also removed the container shape that had previously enclosed the logo, which was originally meant to evoke a street sign. The container was dropped to modernize the logo and evolve it into a standalone wordmark.[1][2]

In September 2018, Eventbrite introduced another new visual identity, just two years after the previous redesign. The new logo featured a smaller, all-lowercase wordmark in a sans-serif font, with a tilted lowercase “e” serving as the recognizable icon. The orange was also slightly darkened in this iteration.[3]

In March 2025, Eventbrite unveiled its most significant rebrand to date, developed in partnership with the global design agency BUCK for the brand refresh and Instrument for the consumer app redesign.[4] The old logo, a tilted lowercase “e,” was replaced with a new monogram resembling thickly daubed paint. The winding shape was dubbed “The Path,” a name and design intended to evoke the “journey from discovery to memory-making.”[5]

According to BUCK, the mark consists of three interconnected parts that shift at every point to create rhythmic movement. As the mark thickens, it evokes a sense of free-flowing electricity, with an energetic quality and forward momentum that reflects the dynamism of real-life experiences.[6][7]

Meaning and Symbolism

Eventbrite describes “The Path” as its “dynamic new mark symbolizing the event journey, from discovery to memory-making.”[4] The mark is designed to be customizable, coming to life in unique community expressions. Eventbrite infuses it with visual elements that capture the essence of different communities, such as vibrant treats for foodies, leafy patterns for plant lovers, musical instruments for live music fans, and artistic swirls for creative souls. Each adaptation transforms The Path into a reflection of community identity while maintaining its role as a universal symbol.[4]

Typography and Design

As part of the 2025 refresh, Eventbrite reimagined its iconic orange and introduced a new color palette with vibrant complementary hues, featuring neon gradients, custom illustrations, and bold typography. BUCK described the approach as amping up Eventbrite’s brand colors with highlighter hues that complement the brightened oranges and yellows. The expanded palette was designed to support Eventbrite’s personality while offering a range of moods and tones adaptable to any event, community, or time of day.[4][7]

The 2025 identity also introduced “The Amplified Brand,” a set of design techniques for marketing extensions including a typographic treatment called Header Highlighter, Expressive Paths (a bespoke logo treatment allowing versatile mixed-media expression), and Energy Auras (neon gradients adding energetic vibrancy to solid colors and photos).[7]
