TKH Group N.V. is a Netherlands-based technology company active in automation, digitization and electrification markets, operating in 90 countries worldwide.[1] The company was founded in 1980 as Twentsche Kabel Holding (TKH) and was renamed TKH Group in 2005.[2]
Design and History
The current TKH Group logo is a wordmark-style emblem registered as a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The mark consists of a green shaded square with the letters “TKH” superimposed inside it. The letter “T” appears in black, while the letter “K” is represented solely by its right portion, rendered as a less-than angle symbol in white.[3]
The trademark application was filed on January 11, 2018, by TKH Group N.V., with registration number 6020920.[3] The same mark was also filed as an international WIPO trademark on the same date.[4]
TKH Group’s corporate history dates to 1930, when the company began as Twentsche Kabelfabriek. The Twentsche Kabel Holding was established in 1980, and the company adopted the TKH Group name in 2005.[2]
Meaning and Symbolism
The trademark registration explicitly claims green, black and white as features of the mark.[3] The green shaded square provides the background field for the letterforms, with the black “T” and white angular “K” creating contrast within the square format. No official documentation of additional symbolic meaning behind the colors or the square shape has been located in the research.
