FK Sileks, officially FK Sileks AD Kratovo, is a football club based in Kratovo, North Macedonia, founded in 1965.[1] The club’s official website lists its colors and crest as part of a visual identity built around red and blue, the club’s documented social colors.[2][3]
Design and History
An emblem documented for FK Sileks Kratovo is described as featuring a red letter “C” on a white ball, with the club’s name in white on a blue ring.[4] This circular badge arrangement, using the club’s red and blue palette with white accents, has been the basis of the club’s crest identity. A vector version of a mid-1990s FK Sileks Kratovo logo exists in logo archives, though it is marked as obsolete and no longer in use by the club.[5]
The club was formerly known as Brus before adopting the Sileks name.[1] Sileks won three consecutive Macedonian First League titles in the 1995-96, 1996-97, and 1997-98 seasons, a period that established the club’s prominence in Macedonian football.[6] The club also won the Macedonian Football Cup in 1993-94, 1996-97, and 2020-21.[6]
Meaning and Symbolism
The club’s documented colors are red and blue, which appear consistently across its crest and kits.[2][3] The emblem’s circular form, with the red letter “C” on a white ball and white lettering on a blue ring, follows a straightforward heraldic layout common to football club badges.[4] No official documentation of deeper symbolic meaning behind the colors or the letter “C” has been published by the club.
