Meaning and history
Fallen Footwear is a skate footwear and apparel brand founded by Jamie Thomas in 2003. DC Shoes manufactured and distributed the line under licence, with three Thomas pro models reaching specialty skate shops that November, according to Skateboarding magazine. Its visual identity pairs the FALLEN wordmark with a compact geometric emblem, shown in black and white treatments.
2003 – Today

This image presents the lockup in solid black on a white field: the heavy, uppercase wordmark sits above the emblem, with both elements aligned as a compact unit. The heading identifies the brand’s span, but the image alone does not establish when this specific artwork first appeared. Fallen returned to the market with a global relaunch in 2019, and its US store lists a Spring 2026 range; the store displays marks from the same visual family (Boardsport Source; Fallen’s US store).
Emblem

Shown by itself here, the emblem is a symmetrical, angular form with horizontal bars and two downward-pointing stems. Its outlined treatment contrasts with the solid emblem in the lockup above. The image supports describing its shape, but does not establish an intended meaning or design rationale.
The opening image uses an outlined white version of the complete lockup on black, while the stage image uses solid black on white. These examples show how the wordmark and emblem remain legible across opposite light-and-dark treatments.
