The Liu Jo Junior logo shown here combines the parent label’s LIU•JO wordmark with a lower line reading “Junior and baby.” It is a kidswear identity tied to Liu Jo, rather than a mark that names Junior alone. Liu Jo was founded in Carpi in 1995 by brothers Marco and Vannis Marchi; the company’s history places the introduction of kidswear collections between 2000 and 2006 (Liu Jo’s brand history).

How the Liu Jo Junior and Baby mark is built

The upper line uses large, upright capital letters and a centered dot between LIU and JO. The O is circular, with “ITALIA” set inside it. Below, “Junior and baby” appears in a flowing, handwritten-style treatment. The two lines create a clear hierarchy: the parent name is prominent, while the lower line identifies the children’s ranges. These are descriptions of the visible lettering, not claims about a named typeface or design intent.

The two images show the same wording and arrangement with different presentations. One has a dark background and subdued lettering; the other uses a light background that makes the lettering easier to distinguish. In both, the round O and its small “ITALIA” lettering remain part of the LIU•JO wordmark, while “Junior and baby” forms the second line.

The heading is retained as part of the archive’s timeline, but it does not establish when this version appeared. The image shows the Junior-and-Baby wording together; it should not be read as evidence that the two ranges have always shared one mark. Liu Jo’s current corporate identity remains the LIU•JO parent wordmark, as reflected in the company’s history and Exelite’s account of the group (Liu Jo; Exelite).

Trade coverage and reporting from 2013 describe the children’s ranges with different names and age bands. La Repubblica reported Junior for girls aged 8 to 16 and Baby for children from 18 months to 6 years in January 2013; Milano Finanza later described a restyling of Junior as a boys’ and girls’ range. These accounts provide context for the range names, but do not date the logo shown here (La Repubblica; Milano Finanza).
