The Farm 51 is a Polish video game developer and virtual reality studio based in Gliwice, established in 2005 by Kamil Bilczyński, Robert Siejka and Wojtek Pazdur. The company is known for titles such as Get Even, World War 3 and Chernobylite.[1]
Design and History
The Farm 51’s logo is a compact abstract symbol paired with the company name in a clean, sans-serif letterform. The mark is available in both black and white versions, allowing it to be used flexibly across digital and print applications.[2] A white version of the logo has been publicly available on Wikimedia Commons since at least 2016, indicating the mark has been in consistent use during the company’s major release period.[3]
The company was incorporated as The Farm 51 S.A. in February 2011 and renamed The Farm 51 Group S.A. in April of the same year, ahead of its listing on the NewConnect stock exchange in 2012.[4] No documented redesign dates or designer attributions for the logo have been published by the company.
Meaning and Symbolism
The Farm 51 has not published an official explanation of the symbolism behind its logo. The abstract symbol does not literally depict a farm or the number 51, and no documented meaning has been provided by the studio. The mark functions primarily as a distinctive identifier rather than a representational emblem.
Typography and Design
The wordmark uses a straightforward sans-serif typeface with evenly spaced capital letters. The typography is kept visually separate from the abstract symbol, allowing the two elements to work together without competing for attention.[2] The logo is distributed in vector formats, supporting clean reproduction at any size.[2]
