CNN Brasil Money is a Brazilian television channel and multiplatform news service dedicated to the financial market, business and the economy. It was launched by CNN Brasil on 4 November 2024, with a programming schedule of 12 live hours per day covering the operation of Brazilian and international markets.[1][2] The channel is distributed on pay TV, streaming platforms and YouTube, and also maintains a dedicated section on the CNN Brasil website.[2]
Design and History
CNN Brasil Money was announced in September 2024 as a new platform from CNN Brasil, with the stated goal of covering the financial market and the impacts that economic sectors generate on the country’s movements.[1] The channel officially debuted on 4 November 2024.[2]
In December 2025, approximately one year after its launch, CNN Money announced a new phase in its editorial and visual strategy, effective 8 December 2025. The update included modernized studios and a renewed visual identity for two of its daily programs, CNN Morning Call and Fechamento de Mercado.[3][4] The refresh was described as a more modern and strategic visual identity, marking the beginning of a new editorial and aesthetic phase for the channel.[4]
The visual updates incorporated redesigned studios, more sophisticated graphic resources and a visual system developed to facilitate the interpretation of the indicators that guide the market throughout the day.[3][5] The modernization was framed as accompanying the channel’s growing relevance in the economy and business segment since its launch.[5]
Meaning and Symbolism
Documented descriptions of the CNN Money visual identity focus on functional goals rather than symbolic meaning. The renewed graphic system was developed to facilitate the interpretation of real-time information, offering the public a more fluid and objective visual experience.[4] The new visual language was also described as placing focus on clarity, agility and immediate reading of the indicators that move the day.[4]
