The NEFT logo consists of four bold capital letters enclosed by a rectangular border. The United States registration describes the mark as a rectangular border around “NEFT” and claims no color; European registrations list black and white. The graphic is a straightforward wordmark, with no separate pictorial symbol. (US registration record; European registration summary.)
NEFT is an Austrian-made rye vodka presented in a metal barrel-shaped container. Its name, Нефть, means “oil” in Russian, but the logo itself relies on lettering and a frame rather than an oil-related illustration. The brand’s US product listing describes the container as shatterproof and recyclable and says it keeps the vodka cold for up to six hours. (NEFT US product listing.)
Trademark records document the framed wordmark over several years. European applications 010245249 and 010245447 were filed on 7 September 2011 and registered on 3 November 2014. In the United States, application 88857799 was filed in 2020 and registered in 2021 as registration 6505064 for vodka. The US record gives first use anywhere as 9 January 2012. Meaning and history
Agency case studies describe identity and packaging work for NEFT, as well as a later repositioning. BRANDED says its “The Awe of Mountains Distilled” concept used Alpine colors and landscape photography, and that the work proceeded without changing the logo. Harcc Studios also lists identity, campaign and packaging work completed at RIOS. (BRANDED case study; Harcc Studios project page.)
Today
The documented current identity remains the framed NEFT wordmark. Its bold capitals sit centrally within a heavy rectangular outline, with black lettering and border against a white field. The brand continued to market NEFT vodka in its metal-barrel packaging in a 2026 distribution announcement. (2026 distribution announcement.)

The identity appeared in several market contexts: The Spirits Business reported NEFT’s UK launch through Enotria & Coe in 2023, and Scuderia AlphaTauri’s announcement described a partnership that placed the logo on the team’s AT04 for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. In 2026, a company release announced distribution partners in California. (The Spirits Business; Scuderia AlphaTauri announcement; California distribution announcement.)
NEFT’s conception is dated to 2011 in brand statements reported by The Spirits Business, while a US trademark record gives a first-use date in 2012. The records therefore distinguish the stated conception year from the later first-use date. The Spirits Business identifies Ekaterina Kuzmina as the founder. (The Spirits Business; US registration record.)
