Elena Mirò is an Italian womenswear brand created in 1985. Its visual identity pairs a wordmark with the Wishful Monogram, a companion symbol the brand describes as a sign of inclusion and harmony. The most clearly documented wordmark change came in 2020: lowercase lettering gave way to simplified capitals in gold on black, according to FashionNetwork’s report on the redesign.

Meaning and history

The wordmark keeps the two-word name and its accent while changing the case and treatment of the lettering. The side-by-side graphic makes that contrast clear: a lowercase version sits beside an uppercase one. FashionNetwork reported that the revised logo was introduced in the 2020/21 period, with a cleaner, simpler typeface and gold lettering on a black ground.
Elena Mirò was created in Alba in 1985 within Vestebene, the clothing company now known as Miroglio Fashion, according to Miroglio Fashion’s brand profile. It is part of Miroglio Fashion, the womenswear company of Gruppo Miroglio.
What is Elena Mirò?
The brand has specialised in womenswear for fuller figures. Its identity update accompanied a change to its size offer: in November 2020, the brand announced an extension down to Italian size 42 for the autumn/winter 2021/22 season, with the range reaching size 58, as Pambianco News reported.
Before – 2022

The earlier stage is identified with a lowercase wordmark, contrasting with the capitals used in the redesign. The change was announced in 2020 and introduced for the 2020/21 period, rather than first appearing in 2022. The image at this stage has a dark field with no legible lettering, so it does not provide a readable view of the earlier mark.
2022 – Today

The later wordmark uses uppercase letters and retains the accent in Mirò. Trade coverage described its lettering as simpler and its treatment as gold on black. The image shown here instead has light lettering on a white field; it should not be taken as evidence of the reported colour treatment. The year in this heading is an archive bracket, not the reported launch date.
The Wishful Monogram
Elena Mirò presents the Wishful Monogram as a companion brand symbol. The brand describes its interlaced, four-petal form as a corolla, with references to rosettes and maiolica; it associates the interlace with embracing all women and the petals with harmony, inclusion, strength and beauty. These meanings are the brand’s own explanation, published in its statement about the monogram.
The monogram also has a practical role as a signature on buttons and decorative details, and as a pattern on seasonless pieces, according to Pambianco News. It complements the wordmark as a separate visual element.
Rosso Mirò and the anniversary
For the brand’s 40th anniversary in 2025, Elena Mirò presented Rosso Mirò, a lifestyle capsule for autumn/winter 2025/26. FashionNetwork reported that the collection comprised about 40 pieces in sizes 42 to 58, with red at the centre of its palette. The anniversary collection introduced a campaign colour emphasis, not a documented replacement for the wordmark.
