The Luisa Spagnoli logo is a flowing cursive wordmark. Its lettering has a copperplate calligraphic character, while a heart form and the large capital L and S are among the identity elements highlighted by the design studio Macsiotti. The studio also documents a separate LS monogram and a refresh of the wordmark’s strokes and curves for use at different sizes and across print, embroidery and engraving.

Meaning and history
Luisa Spagnoli S.p.A. is an Italian womenswear house founded in Perugia in 1928 by Luisa Sargentini, known as Luisa Spagnoli. Its early business grew from angora-rabbit breeding and knitwear, as the company recounts in its brand history.
Script, heart and monogram
The wordmark’s connected, calligraphic letters give the full name a distinctive silhouette. Within it, the heart and prominent L and S are treated as important identity elements. Macsiotti describes its project as a refresh of the earlier copperplate-style wordmark, preserving those features while reworking the lettering. The studio also introduced an LS monogram that can serve as a separate mark. Its case study describes adjustments to strokes and curves for legibility across sizes and for applications including embroidery and engraving.
The case study documents the design work but does not establish when the refresh was introduced. The visual examples here show the cursive name and heart motif; they do not establish which rendition is currently in use.
???? – Today

This stage shows the same central combination of script lettering and heart motif. Compared with the first displayed example, it is presented against a light background and in a taller image crop. The preserved heading does not provide a dependable date for this rendition.
