The MAX&Co. wordmark and identity
The identity centres on the name MAX&Co., with a full stop after the O. A 1999 international trademark record describes the ampersand and O as smaller than the other letters (registry entry mirrored by TrademarkElite). An Italian trademark record lists “MAX & CO.” as registered on 11 May 1987, with Max Mara Fashion Group S.r.l. as holder (Canadian Intellectual Property Office record).
London studio Made Thought reworked the wordmark for the 2019 identity relaunch. FashionNetwork reported that the redesign introduced dark lettering on a coral-red ground and carried the logo onto packaging and labels. Brand director Elia Maramotti described the mark as made “more alive and fluid”; Milano Finanza reported his interpretation of “two souls,” with Max as the conceptual part and &Co as sharing and community (FashionNetwork; Milano Finanza).
Red remained prominent in later brand activity. Max Mara Fashion Group called it the “MAX&Co. signature shade” in its announcement of an October 2025 activation at Milan’s Rinascente, where the logo appeared in a rotating LED sequence. The group also named Highsnobiety as creative direction and curation partner for three seasons beginning with autumn/winter 2025 (Max Mara Fashion Group). Regional retail coverage reported a red-square emblem for autumn/winter 2026 and associated it with passion, attention, balance and strength (HKET).
???? – Today

The white-background version shows the same wordmark construction as the lead image: MAX and Co. in larger letters, with a smaller ampersand and O, followed by a full stop. The contrasting backgrounds change the presentation, while the letter arrangement remains consistent with the documented mark description. The brand’s 2025 activity also confirms that MAX&Co. is operating as a brand within the group (Max Mara Fashion Group).
