JUST (ticker: JST) is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform built on the TRON blockchain, launched in 2020 by TRON founder Justin Sun. The project was originally developed under the name Djed before being rebranded as JUST, a name Sun said reflects the platform’s goal of being “fair and just” through a decentralized system.[1] The platform’s official website is just.network.[2]
Design and History
JUST launched its mainnet in April 2020, with JST serving as the platform’s governance token and USDJ as its stablecoin.[3] The project was the first DeFi initiative to run on the TRON network, designed to provide a stablecoin lending platform built on TRON.[4]
The JUST logo is available for download in PNG and SVG formats through third-party logo repositories.[5] The JST token icon is also represented in the Web3 Icons collection, which describes it as representing the Just token used for financial transactions and decentralized applications on the blockchain.[6]
The visual identity has not been the subject of documented public commentary regarding redesigns or symbolic meaning beyond the platform’s name change from Djed to JUST at launch.[1]
Meaning and Symbolism
The name JUST was chosen to convey the platform’s decentralized and equitable nature. Justin Sun explained that the rebrand from Djed to JUST signified “fair and just” principles enabled by a decentralized system.[1]
