ManageEngine is the enterprise IT management software division of Zoho Corporation, offering a suite of products for network monitoring, service desk, endpoint management, security, and identity access management. The brand’s visual identity has evolved in stages, most notably with a 2017 crest refresh and a 2025 rollout of new product logos.
Design and History
ManageEngine’s origins trace to 1996, when Advent Network Management, Inc. was established, later renamed AdventNet in 1998. The company initially focused on telecom network management software before pivoting to the enterprise IT market in 2002, which is when the ManageEngine brand was born. The company became known as Zoho Corp. in 2009, with ManageEngine operating as its enterprise IT division. [1] [2]
In March 2017, ManageEngine refreshed its logo with a new crest that incorporated the red, green, blue, and yellow colors of Zoho. This change was made to signal closer affinity with the parent company as the two brands deepened their integration. [3]
In August 2025, ManageEngine announced a new look, rolling out fresh logos for its individual IT products. The company stated that each logo was crafted to reflect the core purpose of its product, citing examples such as a cloud-inspired icon for its storage solution and a shield to represent cybersecurity tools. The new logos follow a consistent visual style with clean lines, balanced proportions, and a tech-forward aesthetic. [4]
In November 2025, ManageEngine announced a further branding initiative to clarify its identity as part of the Zoho family, adding the notation “ManageEngine, a division of Zoho Corp.” across its websites, product documentation, and social media. [5]
Meaning and Symbolism
The 2025 product logo refresh was guided by Zoho Corp.’s “Logolinism” philosophy, which the company says helped bring consistency across all the logos. The design process was backed by research to ensure the designs reflect what the products are about. [4]
The four signature colors of the ManageEngine identity are Fire Engine Red (#C82332), Spanish Green (#00A05A), Star Command Blue (#0079C1), and Cyber Yellow (#FAAA1E). These colors are described by the company as forming “the DNA of our identity.” [6]
Typography and Design
ManageEngine uses a custom typeface called Zoho Puvi for its logo, described by the company as “built for precision and approachability.” The typeface is designed to be transmutable across different formats and environments. The logo guidelines specify a minimum exclusion zone around the logo equal to the height of the “M” in ManageEngine, and a minimum reproduction size of 80px for digital use or 20mm for print. [6]
