MXC is the ticker symbol and former brand name of the MXC Foundation, a decentralized Internet of Things (IoT) network project. In May 2024, the organization completed a brand and product upgrade, officially rebranding as Moonchain while retaining $MXC as its sole network token.[1]

The MXC Foundation was established in 2018 and operates as a public IoT infrastructure network under the name Meta X Connect.[2] The project’s visual identity was developed as part of a broader branding effort for the decentralized IoT network, with design work showcased for the foundation’s website and brand assets.[3]
Following the 2024 rebrand to Moonchain, the organization introduced a new look for its brand and products alongside the mainnet launch.[1] The Moonchain team, established in 2017 and headquartered in Berlin, Germany, continues to operate the network under the new identity.[1]
