TrueUSD (TUSD) is a USD-pegged stablecoin issued on blockchain networks, with each token backed by US dollars held in escrow accounts at regulated financial institutions and verified through independent attestations.[1] The project was developed by TrustToken, a tokenization platform, and launched in March 2018.[2]
Design and History
The TrueUSD visual identity has undergone at least one documented change. In late April 2019, TrustToken announced an overhaul of its logos, replacing the earlier TrueUSD mark that had been in use prior to April 24, 2019.[3] The earlier logo had been used in official TrustToken communication as a promotional logotype before the update.[3]
The current TrueUSD brand assets are distributed through the project’s official website, tusd.io, and are also catalogued by third-party brand asset services.[4] The logo is available in standard PNG and SVG formats for integration across digital platforms.[5]
Meaning and Symbolism
TrueUSD publishes a single official brand color, a navy blue identified as TrueUSD Navy with the hex code #002868.[6] The color is documented in the brand’s publicly available guidelines and press resources.[6] Beyond this documented color specification, no official source in the research establishes additional symbolic meaning for the logo’s form or palette.
