Polsat Sport Premium 3 was a Polish premium sports television service operated by Telewizja Polsat. Launched on 21 August 2018, it was one of several pay-per-view (PPV) services created in connection with the Polsat Group’s acquisition of UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League broadcasting rights.[1][2] The channel broadcast without advertisements in high definition, a quality the broadcaster described as Super HD.[1]

Design and History

Polsat Sport Premium 3 PPV began broadcasting on 21 August 2018, initially used for parallel transmissions of UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches.[1] The service was part of a package that included Polsat Sport Premium 1, Polsat Sport Premium 2, and three other PPV services (Premium 4, 5, and 6).[1]

In April 2024, Polsat rebranded its main sports channels, renaming Polsat Sport to Polsat Sport 1, Polsat Sport Extra to Polsat Sport 2, and Polsat Sport News to Polsat Sport 3. The Polsat Sport Premium PPV services, including Premium 3, retained their names during this change.[3][4]

On 1 September 2025, the service was replaced by Polsat Sport Extra 3, a full-time channel, marking the end of the PPV model for this service.[1][5] The change was announced by Marian Kmita, director of sports at Telewizja Polsat, who stated that the occasional PPV services would become regular channels with multi-hour schedules.[5]

New logos for the Polsat Sport Extra channels were introduced with the September 2025 rebranding.[6]
